Pepin elementary school teachers believe that effective teaching of English Language Arts curriculum utilizes a strong CORE program grounded in research-based instructional practices that are aligned to essential standards. Educators will utilize depth of knowledge practices that focus on critical thinking and problem-solving so that students develop perseverance to become college and career ready, life-long learners. We believe that effective literacy instruction
